Bleaching Tips
What kind of bleach?
- Any brand of laundry bleach will work.
Safety
- Keep bleach in its white light proof bottle.
- When exposed to light bleach breaks down and loses some of its power.
- Keep bleach in the laundry.
- Pour out a very, very little amount of bleach into a small jar. Put this jar inside a larger can.
- Wear old clothes or apron.
Tools
- Use brushes with nylon bristles.
- Bleach will eat away natural animal bristle/hair brushes in no time!
- Don’t put bleach in a water barrel brush. It’s too messy and unnecessary.
- Just dip the brush into the bleach to use its nylon bristles.
