• Ad-Tech glue runner
• Chocolate Zig marker
• Marvy super jumbo oval craft punch
• 30 inches of a fall ribbon 2.5 inches wide
• Photos (we shrunk ours down to 2x3)
• Vinyl saying- our pumpkin patch (the one on sample is cut from Cricut machine using brown vinyl and Stamped font)
• 12 inches 3/8" grosgrain ginger ribbon Cut into 3 four inch pieces
• 3 -1/8”x3/16” Basswood Strips- cut into different lengths (we cut ours various lengths into 7 pieces)

Die cut pumpkins using the following:
• Accu-cut machine and pumpkin 1B die
• Bazzill Cardstock one 8.5x11 sheet each of these: Ivy, Yam & Marigold

Instructions

  1. Cut pumpkins out of paper using die cut machine, or buy pack of precut pumpkins. You will need one Leapfrog (green) pumpkin for every Yam and Festive (oranges) one.

  2. Cut stems from the Yam & Festive pumpkins. Adhere these on top of the green pumpkins using Ad-tech. Pumpkins will then have green stems. Use chocolate marker to create a stitched look on each pumpkin.

  3. Punch out photos using oval punch and adhere to pumpkins using Ad-tech. Adhere pumpkins to sticks using glue gun or Ad-Tech.

  4. Making sure the opening of the glass block is at the top, apply your vinyl saying.

  5. Starting at bottom of glass block adhere the wider ribbon onto the block, using glue gun, working your way around. The glue dries fast on the glass so glue a small area at a time. When you get to the opening fill glass block with the nativity straw (we used about a third of the bag), then continue to work your way around. At the end fold over ribbon to create nice finished edge and glue down.

  6. Cut small holes in ribbon where opening is on glass block. The number of holes depends on the number of pumpkins you want coming out of the glass block. We staggered the holes on our sample.

  7. Place sticks through the holes. To secure you can add a touch of glue where the stick meets the ribbon.

  8. As a finishing touch we tied some of the grosgrain ribbon around a few of the sticks.
