1. Insert the lights into each block.
2. Using the Goop glue. ( Hot glue doesn’t work because the blocks are warm from the lights.) glue the three blocks together. Be sure to bring the light cord to the sides so the blocks will set straight. Use plenty of glue. It will take a while for the glue to dry so don’t try to move the blocks until glue is set.
3. Apply textured snow around each block. Make the eyes by putting a large circle of snow where you want the eyes and then place a pompom in the center of each one. Paint the wood base white before applying the textured snow. Do this before sitting the snowman blocks in base.
4. Make the nose by cutting a half circle and then roll to form a triangle. Stuff with a little stuffing and then wrap with orange thread to make look like a carrot. Another choice is to use a package of Sculpy ® clay and form the nose and then mark it to look like a carrot nose, then bake according to package directions.
5. Glue on the “button” pompoms.
6. From your 12 inches of fleece, cut a piece 15x12” for the hat. From the remaining cut a piece 35 x 6” for the scarf. For the hat, sew or glue your hat piece into a tube to fit the block and then tie a narrow strip of the fleece about 3” down from the top. Clip the top portion for form the fringe. Roll the bottom up a few inches to form a small cuff. Fringe the ends of the scarf and tie around the “neck”. Add two twigs for arms between the first and second blocks and you have a new frosty friend!
