  • Size 15 Knitting Needles.
  • Yarn Needle

Instructions

Note: Correct tension/gauge is not essential for this scarf.

Measurements:
Width (approx) 12cms/5ins
Length (approx) 150cms/60ins

Abbreviations :
St/s - stitch/es, K - Knit, P - Purl, stocking st - 1 row K, 1 row P, RS - right side, WS - wrong side, yrn - yarn round needle to make a stitch, rep - repeat/ing, tog - together, Make Knot - Purl 3 sts together leaving sts on needle, yrn, purl the same 3 sts together again.

Instructions

** Using 15 needles and 2 strands of C1 tog, cast on 13 sts.

1st row - (WS) - Knit.
2nd row - Knit.
3rd row - * Make Knot , rep from * to last st, P1.
4th row - Knit.
5th row - P2, * Make Knot , rep from * to last 2 sts, P2.
6th row - Knit.
7th row - P1, * Make Knot , rep from * to end.
8th, 9th and 10th rows - Knit. **
Using 1 strand each of C2 and C3 tog, 11th row - K1, *P1, K1, rep from * to last 2 sts, P2tog.
12th row - K2tog, * P1, K1, rep from * to end.
Rep 11th and 12th rows until 3 sts remain.

Next row
- Knit 3 sts tog. Fasten off.

Make another 7 pieces = 8 pieces in total.
Rep from ** to ** once.

Cast (bind) off loosely knitways.

Finishing:
DO NOT PRESS. Using yarn needle, darn in ends. Using C3 and a flat seam, join pieces tog, using the diagram as a guide.
