Abbreviations:
St/s - stitches, K - knit, P - purl, Garter st -every row knit, Stocking st - 1 row K 1 row P, RS - right side, WS - wrong side, Rep - repeat, Beg - begin/ning, Inc. - increase by knitting into front and back of same stitch.
Instructions:
Note: Yarn is used double throughout.
1. Beg at neck - Using a 15mm (US19) circular needle and 2 strands of yarn together, cast on 40 sts loosely.
Note - Work in rows not rounds.
2. Work 6 rows stocking st.
3. 7th row -K11, inc in next st, knit to last 12 sts, inc in next st, K 11.
4. 8th row - Purl. Repeast two rows until there are 60 sts.
5. Next row - inc in each st to end=120 st. Knit 2 rows garter st. Cast (Bind) off loosely knitways.
Finishing: DO NOT PRESS. Using yarn needle, darn in ends. Place left side over right side and secure with fancy pin.
