Caterpillar Crawl Sign
Who doesn't love little fuzzy caterpillars? We've created several projects all centered around caterpillars - perfect items to create for fun summer projects!
Materials List
- [1] - sheet pink foam
- [1] - sheet green foam
- [1] - sheet white foam
- 3D Glitter Paint Outliner (purple)
- Black Paint Outliner
- 9"x12” Canvas
- Acrylic paint for background
- Wood Letters R-O-O-M
- Quick Grip glue
Instructions

- Paint canvas background color (lavender), let dry.
- Cut 2 1/2” circles from (pink) foam sheet. Cut enough for head and each letter of name.
- Cut letters of name out of (white) foam sheet.
- Cut grass designs out of (green) foam sheet.
- Lay out caterpillar circles and letters on canvas. Glue down all pieces.
- Glue letters into circles.
- Embellish caterpillar using paint outliners (also beads, sequins, buttons…)
- Add face features, antennae and little legs with black outliner paint.
OPTIONAL: You can paint name letters onto foam circles. You can cut the “ROOM” letters out of foam.
