The great thing about Creative Habitat is that we have a lot of gift options. When you come into our store, just take a right into the Emporium. If you didn’t know, ‘emporium’ means a store that offers a wide selection of goods. We think you’ll find the name quite appropriate.

Collectibles are always nice, and it’ll give you options for the next time you’d like to buy the same person a gift. We’re carrying a fabulous selection from Jim Shore (colorful folk art pieces), Willow Tree (simple, understated figures) and Serenity (a line of pewter angels). We have more variety, too, so pop in and have a look.

Slightly more practical, but not plain, you’ll find many great offerings from Lang gifts. You may or may not recognize the name, but you’ll recognize the quality when you see it. Probably best known for their calendars, you’ll love to give and receive anything from the artistically designed product line. Note papers, mugs, recipe boxes, books, albums, and lots of other miscellaneous stuff all make great gifts. Lang has a great range of themes, so you’ll always find something appealing. A bunch of stuff featuring the art of Warren Kimble, a Vermont artist, has just arrived!

One of the best things about being a locally-owned store is that we’re able to provide an assortment of locally-made products. For us that means great stuff from good ol’ Vermont. You know, the stuff that makes us famous. Mostly that means maple oriented goods (of which we have all kinds), though we also have other kinds of novelties including socks from Cabot Hosiery Mill, and Wheelhouse out of Stowe, VT. And be sure to keep in mind that even though your recipient may live in our great state, they probably don’t get Vermont stuff very often. Just something to consider.
